Job Description
3. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the company's presence in the US market
4. Hold full P&L responsibility for the US market
5. Establish productive relationships with key stakeholders and customers
6. Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements
7. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
8. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
9. Regularly report on performance to the Commercial Director
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'US Sales Manager' should have:
10. Existing experience working with Target and/or Walmart
11. A background in FMCG (open on category)
12. Experience of managing buyer relationships and retailers through direct supply, not just distributors
13. Strong commercial skills and experience managing P&Ls
14. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty
15. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
16. A strong understanding of sales performance metrics
17. Be available to travel to the US once a month
18. Must be able to be in London 2-3 days a week depending on where you're based
