An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our highly effective support staff team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Data Manager to oversee the school’s data management systems. Key areas of responsibility will include developing and maintaining effective data systems, the scheduling of the timetable and ensuring accurate and timely census returns. This important role will also include acting as the Data Protection Officer for the School. The successful applicant will be educated to A level or equivalent and will have experience of data analysis together with detailed knowledge of ICT applications, working knowledge of SIMS and strong understanding of data protection principles. Experience of working in a school is not essential, but an enthusiasm for working with young people is vital. You will need to demonstrate the highest standards of accuracy and literacy, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to work independently in a very busy environment and deal with conflicting demands on your time. The successful applicant will also have the ability to report on data in accessible formats to suit varying needs.
