As a Senior Dental Nurse, you’ll provide clinical and operational support. You’ll play a key role in maintaining continuity of care and upholding the highest standards in infection control, safeguarding, compliance, and patient experience. You’ll work closely with the Practice Manager to support day-to-day operations, and act as a role model and mentor to dental nurses and trainees, helping them settle into practice life and grow in confidence. Whether it’s preparing a surgery, supporting a colleague, or helping implement service improvements, your reliability, professionalism, and clinical experience will make you an invaluable part of our team. Your responsibilities will include: • Provide high-quality chairside assistance to dentists during a wide range of dental procedures • Support and mentor junior dental nurses and trainees • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, HTM 01-05, and cross-infection control standards • Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring surgeries are prepared and maintained to a high standard • Manage stock control, ordering dental supplies and maintaining equipment • Assist with patient care, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience • Maintain accurate patient records in line with GDPR and practice policies • Support practice management with audits, inspections, and administrative tasks • Lead by example in professionalism, teamwork, and patient care standards We’re looking for someone who is: • Proven to have a strong background in people and service management • An excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills • Passionate about delivering great care and an excellent patient experience • Confident in using performance data and quality assurance systems • Familiar with CQC standards and governance (and willing to train as a CQC Registered Manager) Why Join Us?
