You’ll be working at the forefront of cloud, virtualisation, and automation - helping shape scalable, secure, and cutting-edge infrastructure. The Role ️ You’ll design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade private cloud environments, working with a mix of virtualisation, containerisation, and automation technologies to deliver secure, high-performance infrastructure. Key Responsibilities ✅ Build and support private or hybrid cloud platforms using OpenShift, Kubernetes, and virtualisation technologies. Manage and maintain containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). Automate deployments using Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet. Integrate and optimise compute, network, and storage solutions across environments. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across Linux systems. Collaborate cross-functionally with development, networking, and security teams. Produce clear technical documentation and playbooks. About You Approx 5 years' experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure engineering. Strong background in virtualisation or private cloud (e.g., VMware, KVM, OpenStack, or similar). Hands-on experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and ideally Red Hat OpenShift. Confident in automation/orchestration (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar). Solid grasp of Linux systems, networking, and storage. Excellent troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills. Must be based in Northern Ireland (hybrid Belfast role).
