Join to apply for the Cardiology Staff Nurse Ward 4 role at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. An exciting opportunity for motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our Cardiology/Cardiothoracic team on Ward 4 at MRI. Ward 4 specializes in the care of cardiology and cardiac surgical patients.
Responsibilities
* Care for cardiology and cardiac surgical patients on Ward 4 (acute cardiology/cardiac surgery ward).
* Learn about our cardiac monitoring system and the telemetry process, with training in ECG rhythm recognition.
* Deliver high quality, patient-focused care with pride and respect; demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to personal and professional development.
* Work a mixture of day, night and weekend shifts as required.
* Contribute to ongoing development and take part in the ward’s induction program and opportunities for progression.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with current practicing registration.
* Motivated, enthusiastic and capable of delivering high standards of care.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and the team.
* Commitment to personal and professional development; evidence of ongoing learning.
About the Role and Organisation
Our key focus is to provide high quality care to patients with complex cardiology conditions, pre and post cardiac surgery, and post cardiac catheter lab procedures. The ward also accommodates medical patients who may require cardiac monitoring.
