CNC Turner
Fantastic and unique opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner who wants to develop and have a key position within a small reputable business.
Flexible working hours – a 4‑day week is possible, with optional overtime available.
This is still a hands‑on role with lots of variety. We are working in partnership with an established precision engineering business that is looking to recruit a skilled CNC Turner as part of succession planning. The smaller team requires someone who can wear a number of hats, take a senior approach to helping the business grow, interact with customers and adopt a "no job is too small" mentality. There is an element of supervising the machinists – primarily around work allocation rather than man‑management.
Preference will be given to candidates who come from a CNC turning background and are comfortable programming and using Fanuc or HAAS‑controlled machines. CNC programming is currently done online; there may be scope to acquire a CAM package if preferred.
Salary & Hours
Salary: £19.00 to £22.00 per hour as a guide.
Hours: 40‑hour week with flexible start/finish time. Some machinists work a 4‑day week (Mon–Thurs) if preferred. 25 days holiday plus banks. Optional overtime available. Healthcare provided.
