Job Description
3. Manage and oversee the personal tax compliance process for a portfolio of clients.
4. Provide advisory services on a range of personal tax matters, including inheritance tax and capital gains tax.
5. Ensure all personal tax returns are prepared and submitted accurately and on time.
6. Offer expert guidance to clients on tax planning opportunities.
7. Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing queries and offering solutions.
8. Assist with HMRC enquiries and liaise with tax authorities when required.
9. Support the development of junior team members through mentoring and guidance.
10. Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with current regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Personal Tax Manager should have:
11. A professional qualification such as ATT, CTA, or equivalent in taxation or accounting.
12. Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation and compliance processes.
13. Experience managing a portfolio of clients within the professional services industry.
14. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
