* Role: Regional Chef Manager
* Location: Covering the London area
* Working Days: 5 days over 7
* Salary: £40,000 PA
Role Overview
We are seeking dedicated Relief Chef Managers to join our team. This mobile role involves providing relief support across units in the area, offering a unique opportunity to advance your career with a company that values individuality, invests in its people, and celebrates achievements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the entire catering contract to ensure high-quality food and beverage services.
2. Maintain positive client relationships and communicate regularly to understand their needs.
3. Manage, recruit, develop, and train team members, including handling sickness, conducting performance reviews, and providing training.
4. Manage labour and food costs, working with your Area Manager to meet budgets.
5. Plan and coordinate resources to deliver exceptional service.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements (e.g., allergens, kcal, PPDS).
Ideal Candidate
1. Experience in contract catering in a healthcare environment or similar; training available for transferrable skills.
2. Experience working in a kitchen environment, following recipes and menu plans.
3. Proven leadership and team management skills.
4. Experience managing client relationships.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
6. Results-driven with a focus on quality and process.
7. Knowledge of company policies and procedures, especially in line with client agreements.
8. Proficiency in MS Office and email.
