Learning Support Assistant - Chesham, Buckinghamshire
Support students with additional needs in a supportive and inclusive secondary environment.
Tradewind is recruiting a compassionate and pro-active Learning Support Assistant in Chesham, Buckinghamshire for a forward-thinking secondary academy with a strong commitment to inclusion and student wellbeing.
The role focuses on supporting students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Key duties:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with additional needs
* Assist pupils with literacy, numeracy and organisation
* Support students with social, emotional or behavioural needs
* Work closely with teachers, SENCo and pastoral staff
* Encourage independence, confidence and engagement in learning
We're looking for someone who:
* Has experience supporting young people or SEN (school, care, youth work or similar)
* Is patient, resilient and adaptable
* Understands safeguarding responsibilities and KCSIE requirements
* Holds an Enhanced DBS (or is willing to obtain one)
