YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: Check prepared meals across all classes against specifications and menu cards – you're the quality control hero ensuring passengers get exactly what they expect, whether it's first class or economy. Manage special meal requests, additional orders, aircraft changes, and return catering – no two days are the same in this fast-paced airport environment. Ensure correct meal quantities are ready for uplift every time – your accuracy keeps flights on schedule and passengers satisfied. Complete DfT security procedures and report any delays – you'll play a crucial role in maintaining aviation security standards. Food industry experience is preferred but not essential if you have strong quality control experience. Knowledge of Basic Hygiene standards is important. Ideally, you'll have worked in production, manufacturing, or stores environments. Most importantly, you've proven you can thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings where accuracy matters. That you'll bring to the role: GCSE level education or equivalent. Flexibility for shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays. The ability to stand for extended periods as you move through checking stations. Comfort working in cold storage environments (but don't worry, we provide all the thermal gear you need!). THE ESSENTIALS: Right to work in the UK Willingness to undergo a Criminal Record Check (CRC) – we work in a secure airport environment, so this is a must Five-year history verification including any periods of unemployment If you've spent more than 6 months outside the UK, you'll need to provide a CRC from that country Please only apply if you're happy to complete this screening process and will fully cooperate with our requests.
