What are the requirements?

* You must be willing to commit to the course duration.
* You need to have a driving license, as you will be working on multiple sites as part of your role.
What will I be doing as a Fabricator/Welder Apprentice?
* Carry out welding and fabrication repairs to the highest standards on company assets.
* Estimate and assess damage and advise maintenance supervisors.
* Always adhere to Health & Safety rules, ensuring work areas are clean and tidy.
* Work as a dedicated Welder/Fabricator on site.
* Potential for mobile on-site work around Manchester, supporting other team members in general maintenance activities.
* Work solo or as part of a team.
* Be willing to learn small mechanical tasks by collaborating with technicians and supervisors.
* Report any activity that falls outside of company policies and procedures to management.
* Maintain excellent relationships with shift supervisors, managers, and site operatives.
* Follow risk assessments and safe systems of work as required.
* Keep the work area clean and tidy as per the 5S requirements.
