The Role
We’re hiring a Talent Manager to represent and grow a curated roster of culturally significant creators - and this role reports directly to the Founder of Set Collective.
You’ll be working alongside someone with 12 years of experience in the creator industry: negotiating major brand deals, building creator careers from the ground up, and navigating the evolution of social platforms long before “creator economy” was a buzzword. This isn’t a traditional agency hierarchy - it’s hands-on collaboration, real decision-making exposure, and meaningful access to experience you won’t find elsewhere.
As one of the earliest hires in the business, you’ll play a foundational role in shaping Set Collective’s future. The right person will grow with us as we scale, gaining influence and ownership as we evolve.
This is a role for someone who wants to build, not just manage.
Salary: £27k-£32k
Key Responsibilities
Talent Representation & Career Development
* Manage and develop a roster of approx. 3-5 creators whose work sits at the intersection of culture, storytelling and influence.
* Alongside the Founder, support the crafting of long-term career strategies that extend beyond platforms - including brand partnerships, creative campaigns, publishing, IP development, live experiences and multi-format storytelling.
* Champion each creator’s voice, values and long-term ambitions, ensuring opportunities align with their message and integrity.
Commercial Strategy & Deal-Making
* Proactively support pitching, manage negotiations and scope high-value partnerships with brands, agencies, media platforms and cultural institutions.
* Navigate contracts with confidence, ensuring creators are protected and positioned for success.
Brand, Image & Narrative Building
* Advise creators on content direction, narrative refinement, audience development and brand identity.
* Oversee reputational considerations and support crisis management where needed.
* Help creators position themselves as thought leaders and cultural contributors, not just content producers.
* Provide creators with cultural insights on industry news and relevant happenings that could help inspire their content output
Operational Excellence
* Oversee day-to-day execution across scheduling, campaign coordination, analytics, invoicing, and legal processes.
* Ensure seamless delivery of campaigns, from briefing to reporting.
* Support creators with content scheduling processes
Growth & Mentorship
In this role, you will:
* Work directly with the Founder, gaining mentorship from someone with 12 years of deep experience across talent management, partnerships, creator strategy and industry evolution.
* Develop commercial, creative, strategic and operational skills at an accelerated pace.
* Be exposed to high-level decision making and the realities of building a next-generation talent agency.
* Contribute to shaping internal systems, processes and ways of working - your voice and ideas will meaningfully influence how the agency grows.
* Be positioned for rapid progression as Set Collective expands its roster and team.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills:
* 2-3+ years’ experience in talent management
* Proven ability to negotiate and close commercial deals.
* Proven ability to support pitching and scout commercial opportunities.
* Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms.
* Excellent communicator - confident, empathetic, and commercially sharp.
* Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple creators and deadlines.
* Confident with contract structures, deal processes and creator marketing fundamentals.
