Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Duties
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their transportation needs are met.
* Utilise IT skills to manage scheduling and documentation effectively, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible.
Requirements
* Previous experience in home care or working within a care home setting is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families.
* A valid driving licence is essential for transporting clients safely.
* Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is crucial.
* Basic IT skills for managing documentation and scheduling tasks efficiently.
