A wonderful private nursery in Camden is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Room Leader to support their Room Leader in creating a warm, stimulating, and engaging environment for children aged 0–5.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading and supporting a small team of practitioners
Creating and delivering inspiring activities aligned with the EYFS framework
Building positive relationships with parents and carers
Overseeing key children’s progress and maintaining high standards of care
Supporting with planning, record-keeping, and staff mentoring
What we’re looking for:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a nursery or leadership role (or ready to step up!)
A confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
Deep understanding of safeguarding, inclusion, and child development
A nurturing approach and a passion for helping children (and colleagues) thrive
