Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants (SENTAs) to join a range of supportive and inclusive schools across Liverpool.
Your Role Will Include:
* Providing 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with a variety of additional needs
* Assisting teachers with tailored learning activities and adapted resources
* Supporting EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
* Helping pupils with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
* Using positive behaviour strategies to promote a safe and nurturing environment
* Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals
We’re Looking For Candidates Who:
* Have experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD, etc.)
* Are patient, empathetic, and skilled at building strong relationships
* Can adapt their approach to meet the needs of individual pupils
* Bring a calm, proactive, and supportive attitude
* Hold relevant training (e.g., Autism Awareness, Team Teach, SEN qualifications) – desirable but not essential
