Metal Manufacturing, Kiveton Park. Leading bright bar manufacturer with growing sales is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The successful candidate will have a flexible working attitude and be willing to work alongside and assist in mechanical maintenance activities when required. Hours of work are typically 38.75 per week, Monday to Friday (day shift with an early finish on Friday), family friendly hours optional. A willingness to work occasional shifts and/or accept occasional call-outs would be a distinct advantage (additional bonus applies). Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Ensure that Health and Safety Legislation and Company policies are being complied with at all times. * Fault finding on 3 phase systems, controls, cranes and machinery. * Assist Electrical Maintenance Manager with daily duties. * Carry out planned maintenance. * Work and fault find on overhead cranes. * New installations/projects. * Test and maintain PLC’s, motors, drives and invertors. * Able to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, logic ladder and electrical disciplines. * Assembly and testing of equipment prior to installation. * Using power and hand tools. * Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements and experience: * BS7671, City & Guilds 2391, NVQ3. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Strong work ethic and positive team attitude. * IEE wiring regulation 17th/18th Edition (preferred). * Electrical Engineering: 5-7 years heavy industrial (preferred). * Significant experience in an Industrial electrical maintenance position (preferred). * Practical experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), DC Drives, Servo Controls, Pneumatics, Temperature Controls and Power Distribution Systems (preferred). * Time served electrical engineering apprenticeship program (preferred). * IPAF license – Cherry picker (preferred). * PLC knowledge – Allen Bradley, Siemens (preferred)
