Security Clearance
Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance or subject to BPSS and Export Control checks (including a criminal record check).

Qualifications
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
- Proven background in stress analysis and experience applying FEM to aerospace structures (plus).
- Demonstrable experience in aerospace and DE.PA processes.
- Experience in automation and data analytics with proficiency in Python scripting (other scripting skills a plus).
- Background or keen interest in Research and Technology (RnT) projects.
- Familiarity with modern engineering process methods and tools (e.g., PLM software, requirements management systems).
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse technical teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Automated Stress & Structural Analysis: develop and deploy automated workflows and scripted routines for FEM and classical stress analysis to streamline structural integrity verification and enable rapid design iterations.
- Digital Design & Multi‑Objective Optimization: leverage programming skills to automate geometry creation, integrate performance data, and optimize wing designs for maximum weight efficiency and performance.
- Data Analytics & Digital Roadmap: build and support the digital wing roadmap by automating configuration and Digital Mock‑Up processes while driving data-driven engineering solutions.
- Research & Technology (RnT) Innovation: pioneer RnT initiatives by automating complex simulations and data collection to explore new materials, manufacturing techniques, and advanced structural wing concepts.

- Location: Site (60% of working week must be office based).
