Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and internal teams regarding complex VAT queries Provide expert advice on international transactions, group structures, and cross-border trade implications. Draft and review detailed VAT advisory notes and technical reports for a diverse portfolio of clients. Liaise directly with HMRC to manage client VAT inspections and formal enquiries. Lead on VAT due diligence and structuring projects for high-value corporate transactions. As a VAT Specialist you will: Manage a diverse portfolio of VAT clients across sectors like property and financial services. Support the VAT Partner on high-level consultancy projects and business development. Work closely with the compliance team to identify risks and ensure technical accuracy in complex filings. Assist with year-end VAT audit queries for large corporate groups.
