Senior Quantity Surveyor
We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Thames Water Commercial Team.
Location: Hogsmill Project, Kingston-upon-Thames
Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Contract: Permanent, full-time and able to consider part-time opportunities
Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
* Ensure compliance with the project's procurement strategy, including subcontract inquiries and tender reviews.
* Manage valuations, project cashflows, and turnover forecasts, including monthly cost reports and progress records.
* Preparation of monthly cost / value reports for projects, together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members
* Provide legal and contractual advice on orders and changes, handling notices and subcontractor administration.
* Drive commercial initiatives, producing margin improvement plans and supporting team members in maximising opportunities.
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you have:
* You hold a relevant academic qualification in a Construction related degree
* You hold a full UK Driving License
* Prior experience working in a Commercial role for a contractor, ideally with MEP exposure.
* Experience with a variety of contract forms.
* The ability to work collaboratively and part of a team.
