Summary
We are seeking an Assistant to join our team at The Buttermere Court Hotel in Buttermere. This role is vital in supporting our daily operations and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the daily operations of our hotel including taking orders and serving food and drinks from the bar, checking guests into their rooms, making hotel and restaurant bookings and general hotel cleaning.
* To complete general administrative tasks to support hotel operations and to comply with current guidelines and legislation.
* Provide excellent customer service via phone and in-person interactions.
* Organize supplies and deliveries to ensure a tidy work environment.
Requirements
* Proven experience in the hospitality sector is preferred. However, training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Access to your own transport to attend shifts. (Please note, The Buttermere Court Hotel is not regularly serviced by public transport and so candidates must have access to their own transport).
