Role Overview:
This is an established role within the Private Client department. Our client seeks a candidate with a proven background and enthusiasm for Private Client work, including preparation of wills, estate administration, tax planning, and powers of attorney. This role offers opportunities to develop skills and contribute to a forward-thinking, expanding firm. The position also involves participation in marketing, article drafting, PR, business development, social media, and networking activities.
Requirements:
* Qualified Senior Solicitor / Associate Solicitor with at least 4-5 years PQE
* STEP or SFE qualification preferred but not essential
* Understanding of will preparation, including asset protection and tax mitigation
* Knowledge of inheritance, capital gains, and income tax principles in estate planning
* Knowledge of trusts, estate administration, and deeds of variation
* Experience with Lasting Powers of Attorney and advising elderly clients
* Organised, efficient, and able to manage workload effectively
* Enthusiastic with a good balance of technical skill and commercial awareness
* Ambitious, dynamic, with excellent communication skills
