JOB DESCRIPTION:
Maintenance Plumber required for a Facilities Management company to carry out planned and preventative maintenance on a large site in Wythenshawe. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking Plumber to join the team. This is a long-term, secure contract position with the opportunity to go permanent. Opportunities for progression are available.
This role will involve working 8am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).
Daily responsibilities will include:
1. Planned and preventative plumbing maintenance
2. Repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures and fittings
3. Diagnosing and rectifying plumbing faults
4. Carrying out work safely and efficiently
5. Building relationships with customers on site
Requirements for the role:
6. NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
7. Proven plumbing maintenance experience
8. Multi-skilled maintenance experience (desirable)
9. Knowledge of water systems, heating systems, and general building services
On offer is a competitive hourly rate of £21 - £22 per hour. Any hours worked over 40 hours will be paid at x1.5. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for progression. My client is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
