We're looking for a commercially sharp and strategically minded Financial Controller / Head of Finance to lead our finance function and play a pivotal role in scaling the business.
As a key member of the executive team, you’ll work closely with the CEO to drive financial performance, steer strategic decision-making, and help us scale with purpose. ?? What You’ll Be Doing as Head of Finance
* Own and lead all financial operations, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
* Prepare strategic performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Define and oversee KPIs, providing clear insights into business performance.
* Develop and implement robust financial and tax strategies.
* Lead on company secretary duties, accounts preparation, options schemes, and audits.
* Ensure full compliance with GAAP and financial regulations.
* Manage and nurture third-party relationships across finance, data, and insurance.
* Support fundraising processes and capital strategy.
* Play a key role in long-term strategic planning alongside the CEO and leadership team.
?? The Candidate for Head of Finance
* 6-10 years of experience in senior finance roles (Financial Controller / Head of Finance).
* Strong technical foundation and understanding of regulated environments is a must have: experience in an insurer or MGA will be an advantage
* Hands-on operator with strategic vision - comfortable switching between detail and big-picture thinking.
* Commercially astute with strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
* High integrity, dependable, and confident in making and implementing tough decisions.
* Naturally high-energy, proactive, and results-driven, with a bias for action.
