Job Title: Senior Residential Conveyancer / Branch Lead
Location: East London / Essex
Salary: Very competitive + flexibility for the right person
Working Pattern: Full-time | Office based (with hybrid after probation)
The Opportunity
We’re supporting a well-established private practice in Essex with the appointment of a Senior Residential Conveyancer to join and help develop their East London/Essex office.
This is a hands-on role with autonomy over files and the chance to step into a key leadership position as the branch grows. You’ll be supported by an established wider team and structured supervision.
The Role
You’ll manage a full residential conveyancing caseload end-to-end, covering:
* Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
* Remortgages
* Transfers of equity
* New build matters
* Client care and transaction progression from instruction to completion
There is also an expectation that you’ll support the ongoing development of the office through strong stakeholder relationships and a commercial, solutions-led approach.

About You
We’re looking for an experienced residential conveyancer who can confidently run a full caseload and operate at a senior level. You will ideally have:
* 3+ years PQE (or equivalent experience as a senior fee earner)
* Strong technical capability across a wide range of residential transactions
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* The confidence to support junior colleagues when required
* A commercial mindset and interest in helping grow a branch environment
