We are looking for a paralegal to assist our experienced and friendly Corporate & Commercial legal team in London. You will be based in our Cannon Street office for a minimum of 3 days per week.
What You’ll Do
* Assist the corporate & commercial legal team on global matters, including on some of the most interesting and novel legal issues in the industry;
* Draft a broad range of legal documents, policies and correspondence;
* Manage small claims and disputes, working closely with lawyers in the team;
* Advise on marketing campaigns and promotions;
* Conduct legal research with a view to supporting the commercial legal team in providing the business with pragmatic advice and in many instances working with the business on effective implementation;
* Manage projects, including preparing and maintaining tracker documents for monitoring progress of matters;
* Assist with document review exercises; and
* General assistance (including matter management, know-how and document management).
What Were Looking For
* Candidates should have strong academic background, or equivalent experience and preferably some experience as a paralegal in-house or at a private practice law firm.
* Enthusiastic and able to work in a fast‑paced environment dealing with multiple matters at any given time;
* Highly organised and a proven record of meeting deadlines and managing competing demands;
* Highly motivated and keen to learn/experience different areas of law;
* Driven to do an excellent job as efficiently as possible;
* Attention to detail;
* Good, positive, can‑do attitude; and
* A team player who is willing to get stuck in.
