This role is ideal for an experienced, workshop-based joiner who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and enjoys contributing to a collaborative manufacturing team.Candidates with solid bench joinery experience will be fully supported with additional internal training to help strengthen skills, broaden experience and progress within the business.Role OverviewAs a Bench Joiner, you will be responsible for assembling bespoke joinery components to a high standard, ensuring all items meet production specifications and are prepared for onward processing through the workshop.You will work closely with management and other departments to ensure an efficient and consistent workflow, contributing to the overall quality and delivery of finished products.Key ResponsibilitiesConstructing and assembling bespoke joinery and cabinet-making projects from technical drawingsFinishing, sanding and preparing completed items to ensure they are ready for spraying, dispatch or further processingMaintaining quality standards and ensuring work is produced in line with production requirementsProviding your own essential hand tools, including cordless drillsSupporting other workshop functions when required, including occasional assistance in the machine shop or other operational areasWorking in line with instructions provided by the Joinery Manager to ensure smooth production flowSkills, Experience & AttributesPrevious experience in a bench joinery or workshop-based joinery roleAbility to read and accurately interpret AutoCAD drawings and manufacturing documentationExperience with woodworking machinery is beneficial but not essentialStrong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanshipGood communication and organisation skillsPractical problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to workReliable, responsible and capable of working in a fast-paced production environmentComfortable working independently as well as part of a team
