You don't need experience as a Support Worker or qualifications to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. Our team and the individuals you'll support
You’ll become part of a fun, friendly and dedicated team who provide residential, respite and day care support to individuals with various disabilities and additional support needs. We have four amazing permanent residents within our home and we also provide respite and day care support to many other individuals too. There's never a full moment in Forrest Walk, every day is different.
With a focus on maintaining and promoting independence, you'll work in a person-centred way to provide support in all aspects of daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication and managing personal finances. You’ll also play a huge part in supporting them with their hobbies and interests too, including cooking, baking, dominoes, basketball, going for walks and trips to the local pub.

Shift Patterns
As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts usually fall between the hours of - hours with sleepovers, waking nights, weekend and public holiday working forming part of your rota on a rotational basis.
Sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours and you’ll receive an additional payment of £.80 for every sleepover shift you work. Waking night shifts are paid at your normal hourly rate, plus an additional payment of £20 per night.
