Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Project Worker to join our team in central Oxford, providing vital support to individuals in need. As a Project Worker, you will play a key role in helping people to maintain their independence, manage their daily lives, and achieve their goals. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in your community, with full-time hours available, Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:00.
Key Responsibilities
Provide emotional and practical support to service users, enabling them to live independently and participate in their local community
Develop and implement personalized support plans, tailored to each individual’s needs and goals
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, social services, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support
Assist service users with daily tasks, such as budgeting, shopping, and household management
Foster a safe and supportive environment, promoting dignity, respect, and empowerment
Required Skills & Experience
Experience of working in a support or care environment, preferably in a housing support setting
Ability to work flexibly, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues
Basic IT skills, with the ability to use electronic care records and other digital systems
A patient, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality support
