Aucklands Care is recruiting compassionate and experienced Night Health Care Assistants to provide person‑centred support to individuals living in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole.

Concerning the Position
This is a waking night job that provides one‑on‑one assistance to people in their homes, when calm support, continuity, and trust are crucial.
Throughout the night, you will be responsible for providing person‑centred care and emotional support, especially to those who might be experiencing anxiety, confusion, or disturbed sleep.
Among your duties will be:
* Delivering individualized, person‑centred care in accordance with support plans
* Providing emotional support, especially to people with mental health problems or suffering associated with dementia
* Providing assistance to people who might have anxiety, confusion, or challenging behaviours at night
* Providing personal care assistance and upholding dignity at all times
* Conducting routine examinations, observations, and wellness tracking
* Providing pharmacological support (where trained)
* Establishing and preserving a secure, serene, and organised atmosphere
* Keeping thorough, precise care records and reporting any issues
* Working autonomously in the community while maintaining ties to your team
Who We’re Seeking
We are seeking people who are confident and compassionate, particularly in a nighttime setting.
You’ll:
* Have experience helping people with dementia, learning difficulties, or mental health issues
* Be composed, patient, and comforting, especially when you’re feeling upset or confused
* Be self‑assured when working alone in the community
* Possess the capacity to establish connections based on trust
* Exhibit excellent communication, problem‑solving, and observational skills
* Be dependable, adaptable, and dedicated to providing high‑quality care
* Be considerate, nonjudgmental, and person‑centred
Crucial:
* Complete driver’s licence in the UK
* Prior experience providing care or assistance
