The Role: As Engineer, you will provide essential technical support across the business, ensuring developments progress smoothly from land acquisition through to construction. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of high-quality residential projects. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with Land and Commercial teams to ensure seamless information flow. Prepare detailed site viability reports aligned with current residential development regulations. Review drawings and technical details for accuracy, compliance and commercial suitability. Liaise with external consultants, ensuring all deadlines and technical requirements are met. Secure statutory approvals for Engineering Design and Ground Investigation. Attend site visits and project meetings to identify and resolve emerging technical issues. Participate in design meetings with highways authorities and planners to establish council requirements. Lead on tender and pre-start engineering documentation, assessing viability of each project. Monitor and integrate upcoming regulatory changes into future plans and designs. Support the Engineering Manager in obtaining fee proposals from specialist consultants. Provide ongoing technical and administrative support to on-site teams. Ensure technical approvals are obtained in line with programmed site start dates. Work with the Central Design Team to develop new products and research build systems that support future legislation and market trends.
