As a Children’s Support Worker, you’ll: Provide trauma-informed care to keep young people safe and supported Build positive, trusting relationships Encourage healthy routines and life skills Support education, prepare meals, and accompany children to appointments Champion their voice — making sure they’re heard and valued Drive young people to activities or appointments using your own vehicle Help them move forward with confidence and hope What We’re Looking For ✔ Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary) ✔ Full UK driving licence and access to a car ✔ Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience ✔ Flexibility for varied shifts (including weekends, sleep-ins, and waking nights) ✔ A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one) A relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable but not essential — full training provided.
