Job Title: Performance Modelling Engineer Location: East Midlands (Fully Onsite) Employment Type: Permanent Working Hours: 40 hours per week Industry: Clean Energy / Propulsion / Power Systems Overview We're seeking a Performance Modelling Engineer to take ownership of high-level system modelling at the concept stage for advanced power and propulsion systems. You'll be responsible for developing 0D and 1D models within a model-based architecture, using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink and Simscape to support early design decisions and trade-offs - including efficiency, mass, and power output. This is a fully onsite, hands-on technical role suited to someone who can work independently while engaging closely with multi-disciplinary teams. A background in thermodynamics, fluid systems, or power generation is ideal. Aerospace experience is welcome but not essential.
