Come and join us as a Production Team Leader at our Sandown site in Walsall About the Role As a Production Team Leader at our Sandown site, you will be fully trained to work with our specialised tools and machinery which we use to produce bricks ready for use in the construction industry. As a Production Team Leader you will manage the department and help the team to achieve their production, quality and safety targets. You will also line manage a number of Operators, providing them with technical expertise, supporting their personal development and any areas of improvement. Duties include: To plan and manage the team on a daily basis Addressing/reporting Health and Safety issues Ensuring Health and Safety standards are achieved and that P.P.E. is used where needed. Monitor quality in all areas of production Monitor process control reports Plan to ensure all materials and equipment needed is available to run the shift for production. Ensure that all paperwork is correctly filled in Work closely with the maintenance department Work with shift leadership and plant management on all aspects of production. Assist in the implementation of quality and environmental management.
