Walker and Sloan are proud to be working exclusively with a start up FMCG Food Brand who are now seeking a Marketing Manager to join their team on a full time basis.


Package:

Full Time Role – (40 hours per week – Mon to Fri

Salary - £35-£40k DOE

Essential – Minimum 2 years FMCG Food Experience

Hybrid- Vauxhall – 3 days in office

10% discretionary annual bonus

23 days holiday + all UK bank holidays


Job Description:


FMCG Food startup requires a Marketing Manager, is responsible for working with other marketing staff to develop unique campaign ideas to market a company’s products, services or overall brand identity. Their duties include completing market research to identify target audience demographics or reviewing previously successful marketing campaigns, working as part of a team to accomplish tasks by set deadlines and making adjustments throughout marketing campaigns to achieve better engagement from consumers


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


* Collaborating with sales, marketing, advertising, product design and product development team members to planning promotional marketing campaigns
* Creating editorial and content creation calendars for various media platforms and outlets
* Assisting with the design, negotiation and placement of billboards, traditional media ads on TV and radio, social media ads and email blasts
* Meeting with clients to discuss brand guidelines, goals, budget and timelines
* Conducting market research to determine a target audience’s needs, wants, habits, interests and other relevant factors used in creating targeted marketing campaigns
* Researching previous successful campaigns to understand what worked, what didn’t and what can be improved
* Reviewing the progress and success of a campaign, making adjustments or pitching ideas for new campaigns as necessary.
* Monitor campaign performance and track key metrics (traffic, conversions, ROI).
* Create basic marketing reports using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, or Excel.
* Support the execution of marketing plans in line with brand strategies.

* Identify trends and insights to support data-driven decisions.
* Support content creation for blogs, newsletters, website, and social media.
* Manage social media accounts (posting, scheduling, and engagement).
* Creation of visual assets (graphics, video, photography).
* Assist in developing and maintaining the content calendar.
* Help draft and schedule marketing emails using tools like Klaviyo.
* Segment email lists for targeted campaigns.
* Monitor open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
* Assist with the coordination and promotion of product launches or seasonal campaigns.
* Support events, pop-ups, or promotional activities (online or in-person)
* Work with external partners (agencies, influencers, freelancers) under guidance.
* Maintain marketing budgets, invoices, and documentation.
* Attend team meetings, contribute ideas, and help with team coordination.
* Management of the Public Press releases
