A friendly and progressive SEN school in Wokingham is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their expanding team. You will work with pupils, many of whom have Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, learning needs, or social-emotional challenges.
This SEN Teaching Assistant position is an excellent role for graduates or experienced support workers looking to step into the fields of Psychology, Education, Therapy, or Social Care.

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Wokingham
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £89-£100 per day
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pmSEN Teaching Assistant will include:
Providing 1:1 and group support tailored to individual learning needs
Helping pupils with communication, self-regulation, and independence
Assisting teachers with planning, activities, and behaviour support
Implementing strategies recommended by therapists and SEN specialists
Contributing to a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environmentThis SEN Teaching Assistant role gives you invaluable insight into specialist education, therapeutic approaches, and SEN support techniques, preparing you for careers such as Teacher, Educational Psychologist, Therapist, Speech & Language Assistant, or SEN Support Worker.
