Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons to students with SEMH needs.
* Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support students' academic and emotional development.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
* Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators, support staff, and external professionals to create holistic support strategies.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting teaching methods as needed.
* Contribute to the development of school policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing student wellbeing and achievement.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching English, preferably within an SEMH or special education setting.
* Strong understanding of SEMH needs and strategies to support students' academic and emotional development.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach to teaching.
