GSL Education are delighted to recruit a resilient Behaviour Tutor for educational settings across Newcastle.
As a Behaviour Tutor, you will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, delivering targeted interventions and promoting positive attitudes towards learning.
Key Duties:
* Provide one-to-one and small group behaviour support sessions.
* Implement personalised behaviour plans and intervention strategies.
* Support pupils in developing self-regulation and social skills.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams.
* Maintain accurate records of progress and outcomes.
Requirements of Behaviour Tutor:
* Previous experience working with young people with behavioural needs.
* Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
* Patient, calm, and consistent approach.
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one.
