We are seeking a skilled Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a well-regarded primary school in Aston Clinton. Key Responsibilities:
Work alongside class teachers to plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and differentiated learning activities
Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, helping pupils achieve their full potential
Adapt resources and teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with SEN or EAL
Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, focused classroom environment
Support in assessing pupil progress and delivering feedback to inform next steps in learning
Participate actively in school life, including professional development, staff meetings, and enrichment activities
What We’re Looking For:
HLTA qualification (or equivalent) is essential
Previous experience in a similar role within a primary school setting
A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to supporting teaching and learning
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to pupil well-being and progress
A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and two professional references
