Responsibilities & Expectations
* Work on large‑scale projects across the UK.
* Deliver strategic procurement advice and end‑to‑end procurement services for major projects or programmes.
* Support business development and marketing of the Contract Services team’s service proposition.
* Collaborate with a team on bid preparation, proposal documentation and support achievement of business targets.
Qualifications
* Experience of leading and/or supporting projects in a strategic procurement environment.
* Strong background in tender preparation and development of relevant documents.
* Experience in supplier engagement activities from market engagement to contract award.
* Cross‑sector experience with Public/Utilities Contract Regulations or equivalent.
* Experience with standard form contracts such as NEC and JCT.
* Working towards or holding MCIP accreditation.
* Preferably a degree in construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement.
* Experience in Defence, Utilities, or Infrastructure sectors.
* Valid Security Clearance (SC).
Skills
* Develop procurement strategy within a project or programme context.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Understanding of commercial principles and modelling.
* Deliver strategy and documentation in a capital project or programme environment.
