Vision for Education are seeking a Student Support Care Assistant to join a specialist SEN school on a full-time basis, supporting pupils with complex needs.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals currently working in care or support roles who are looking to transition into education while continuing to use their practical, hands-on experience.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:45pm
Full-time only – long-term opportunity

About the Role
As a Student Support Care Assistant, you will work closely with pupils with a range of complex needs, including:
• Autism (ASC)
• Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
• Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing personal care (toileting, hygiene, feeding)
• Supporting with moving and handling
• Assisting with classroom activities and structured routines
• Delivering 1:1 and small group support
• Promoting a safe, comfortable and engaging learning environment
This is a practical, hands-on role that closely mirrors care work, within a school setting.

• Care Assistant
• Support Worker
• Healthcare Assistant
• Residential Care Worker
• Mental Health Support Worker
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must:
• Have recent experience in a care or support role
• Be confident delivering personal care and physical support
• Have experience with moving and handling
• Be available full-time (Monday–Friday, 8:45am – 3:45pm)
• Be seeking a long-term position
• Demonstrate patience, resilience and a caring approach
