Pontefract Automotive is a leading supplier of automotive parts, tools, and accessories, committed to providing top-quality products and exceptional customer service. We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Car Parts Sales/Store Manager to support our store, manage daily operations, and ensure customer satisfaction in an environment that's fast-paced and driven by automotive enthusiasts. If you have a passion for cars, an eye for detail, and the leadership skills to manage a store, we want to hear from you

The Duties / Responsibilities:

· Sales Management: Drive sales growth by implementing effective merchandising strategies, ensuring product availability, and promoting promotions. Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

. Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that all customer inquiries and concerns are handled efficiently and professionally. Provide expert advice on car parts, accessories, and tools, and offer tailored recommendations based on customer needs.

. Store Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations, inventory control, and customer service. Ensure the store is well-organized, safe, and fully stocked with the right products.

· Manage the business day to day digital/online operations via Website, Amazon, Ebay etc

. Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, place orders, conduct stock takes, and ensure the accuracy of inventory records. Ensure that the right products are available to meet customer demand.

. Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors to ensure competitive pricing, product availability, and quick delivery times.

· Cash handling: Receiving, Disbursing and Storing Cash at the Point of Sale (POS)

. Reporting: Monitor sales performance, report on key metrics, and assist in budget forecasting and cost control to ensure profitability.

Team Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates. Provide training on automotive products, sales techniques, and customer service to ensure employees deliver the best experience to customers.

· Taking and processing orders both by e-mail, telephone and online

· Dealing with incoming sales and enquiries via telephone, online/post, email and B2B functions

· General activities

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
