Management Accountant– 22 Partner Firm– Slough

Our client is a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants working with a diverse client base ranging from ambitious start-ups to multinational organisations with turnovers of up to £200m. As a multi-disciplinary practice, they offer services including accountancy, tax, legal support, and financial advice, allowing their teams to work closely with clients across multiple areas of their business.
They have strong expertise in sectors such as Technology, Financial Services, Hospitality, and Publishing, working with an interesting and varied portfolio of clients. Due to the international nature of some engagements, there may also be occasional overseas travel.
With around 130 staff across two offices, the firm is continuing to grow and offers a supportive, collaborative environment with clear progression opportunities through to Partner level.
Management Accountant responsibilities will include:
* Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of clients
* Produce variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
* Review bookkeeping records and ensure accuracy of financial data
* Prepare VAT returns where required
* Support clients with cloud accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
* Liaise with clients to provide financial insights and respond to queries
* Assist with year-end accounts and ad-hoc financial analysis
As a Management Accountant you will be/have:
* ACA or ACCA Part-Qualified, or AAT Qualified (Ideally with first time passes)
* At least 18 months experience including management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns
* Demonstrate the desire to complete your qualification
