Mediplacements is currently seeking a Band 6 Podiatrist for a general routine care locum role in Dudley.
The pay for this position is £25-£30 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.
A minimum skill set for both would be:
Nail Care
Debridement / Scalpel Technique / Enucleation
Diabetic Foot Risk Assessment
Recognise Deteriorating Patient and Escalate
Referrals to MDT/Alternative services
Diagnosis & Differential Diagnosis
Foot Health Promotion & Education
Footwear Advice
Neurovascular Assessment
Baseline MSK Assessment
Prescribe & Issue Insoles / Orthotics
Recognising Red Flags & Actioning
Baseline Wound Care
Safety Netting Patients
Holistic Assessment & Advice
Understanding & Assessing Mental Capacity
The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and have experience in providing general routine care.
