Techfloor is a leading commercial flooring supplier, trusted by trade and major retailers across the UK. With our hero brands and strong client base, we're ready to grow the business — and now we're looking for a proactive, organised, and commercially minded individual to work directly alongside our Managing Director.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days will look the same. You'll be the driving force behind sales administration, client support, marketing activity — and proactive phone calls to clients and prospects. If you're confident juggling admin with customer engagement and want to be at the heart of a growing business, this role is for you.
What you'll be doing
* Supporting the MD with day-to-day sales administration
* Sending out samples and invoicing immediate orders
* Following up incoming leads for our hero brand and warming them up for the MD
* Making proactive phone calls to research opportunities, upsell to existing clients, and re-engage lapsed customers
* Coordinating and sourcing industry events & exhibitions, then following up on leads generated
* Researching and sourcing new leads through industry-specific channels and e-shots
* Managing the MD's diary for new business appointments
* Marketing old stock to targeted industries
* Creating and posting engaging content across social media platforms, building followers and engagement
* Acting as a first point of contact for clients, ensuring strong communication and relationship building
What we're looking for
* Highly organised with great attention to detail
* Confident making proactive phone calls and comfortable upselling/handling client conversations
* Sales admin experience with a focus on accuracy and follow-through
* Comfortable using digital tools (CRM, email marketing platforms, and social media)
* Commercially minded with a proactive attitude — spotting opportunities and taking initiative
* Clear written and verbal communicator
* Creative with marketing content and social media activity
* Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle
