The purpose of this role is to ensure that the customer and clients are the primary focus in the Final Mile of the parcel journey. The Community Delivery Manager is responsible for final mile performance across delivery units through engagement of self-employed and SE+ couriers. This role drives continuous performance through successful capacity management and round coverage.

You will be accountable for:
* Continuous improvement using key reports and MI to drive service improvement with couriers in the final mile.
* Measuring and driving improvement across performance measures including Speed of Service, Standard, Next Day, Collections, C2C, Claims/Enquiries, and End of Life to ensure satisfaction.
* Minimizing enquiries by providing an exceptional customer experience through courier engagement, communication, and retention.
* Capacity management by ensuring successful coverage of rounds through interviewing, selecting, and onboarding couriers.
* Building courier and round coverage to minimize business risk and meet requirements.
* Motivating and engaging couriers to ensure high standards of customer service.
* Driving cost leadership and financial control through courier fee management and asset control.
* Resolving customer concerns promptly by collaborating with couriers and customer service teams.
* Managing relationships with delivery units to ensure high-quality service for couriers and customers.
* Ensuring health and safety practices are followed and code of conduct violations are addressed promptly.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Current UK Driving Licence
* Experience in coaching, supporting, and motivating colleagues
* Problem-solving skills and contingency planning
* Customer-focused approach
* Ability to adapt to different styles and behaviors
