Hybrid – Stopford House and homeworking (minimum 2 days in the office each week). Permanent.

Your Role
As a Planning Officer, you will manage a caseload of planning applications, enquiries and appeals; conduct site visits; prepare reports and advice; engage with applicants, residents and partners; provide technical knowledge and support to the wider team; and contribute to service improvements.
About You
You hold a relevant planning qualification and are a chartered RTPI member or eligible for membership. You have significant experience in Development Management handling a varied caseload, including major schemes. You are organised, confident in interpreting plans, adept at writing clear reports, and capable of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders. You work independently and as part of a team, prioritise tasks, remain calm under pressure, and adjust your communication style to suit differing audiences.
