Mechanical Estimator
A growing M&E contractor with a strong reputation across the South of England is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to support its expanding pre-construction team. The company delivers full mechanical and electrical packages across commercial, industrial, education, leisure, and public-sector projects, with a focus on quality, collaboration, and long-term client partnerships.
Responsibilities
* Review tender documents and define mechanical scope.
* Prepare detailed mechanical estimates and take-offs.
* Source and assess supplier/subcontractor quotations.
* Support design coordination and technical clarifications.
* Produce tender submissions and handover documentation.
* Maintain pricing databases and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
* Mechanical estimating experience within M&E/building services.
* Strong understanding of HVAC and public health systems.
* Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
* Good communication and commercial awareness.
* Relevant technical qualification preferred.
