If you have experience working with robotic manufacturing equipment, automated welding systems, or advanced production technologies and are looking to be part of an innovative manufacturing environment, we'd like to hear from you.The OpportunityWorking within a highly skilled engineering and manufacturing team, you will support the operation, monitoring and continuous improvement of robotic welding and additive manufacturing processes.The role combines robotics, welding technology, process control and quality assurance, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy solving technical challenges and working with emerging manufacturing technologies.Key Responsibilities Operate and support advanced multi-axis robotic welding and additive manufacturing systemsSet up, monitor and optimise manufacturing processes to ensure quality and repeatabilityModify and maintain robotic programmes, including ABB RAPID or similar control platformsMonitor weld pool behaviour, bead formation and process stability during productionConduct inspections and support quality verification activitiesInvestigate process deviations and implement corrective actionsCapture and analyse manufacturing data to drive continuous improvementCollaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams on process development activitiesMaintain accurate process documentation and traceability recordsAbout YouWe're looking for candidates with a strong technical background in automated manufacturing, robotics or welding technologies who are comfortable working in a precision-driven environment.Essential Experience Experience operating robotic, CNC, PLC-controlled or automated manufacturing equipmentUnderstanding of welding processes and welding metallurgyExperience with robotic programming, ideally ABB RAPID or similar systemsStrong troubleshooting and fault-finding skillsExcellent attention to detail and quality standardsAbility to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamDesirable Experience Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM)Robotic welding systemsMetal additive manufacturing technologiesAerospace, defence or highly regulated manufacturing environmentsAS9100 or ISO9001 quality standardsProcess monitoring, data acquisition or digital manufacturing systemsWhat's On Offer?
