Role Title: Senior Test Analyst - GRS VC

Rate: £375 - £400 per day - PAYE via Umbrella
Role Description:
The Portfolio Solutions Team is seeking to recruit a Senior Test Analyst with Insurance experience (ideally London Market), to be responsible for the planning, documentation, delivery, execution, and ongoing management of an agreed Test Strategy to support a new vendor-enabled Quote, Bind & Issuance Insurance solution across multiple lines of business and countries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Senior Test Analyst for Portfolio Solutions project and support on all matters related to testing, including setting testing strategy, approaches, standards, and key success factors for Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, QA, Performance, and Automated Testing, with continuous improvement.
2. Work with wider Product teams including Product Owners, Product Analysts, Scrum Masters, Agile Project Managers, Actuaries, Developers, and external vendors to promote and support 'best practice' to ensure testing quality standards are met, deliverables align with the overall test strategy, and documentation is complete and of the required standard.
3. Design, develop, maintain, and monitor execution of automated regression tests.
4. Collaborate with Business Agility to produce UAT testing approaches and plans, encompassing business testing, test scenarios, and test cases, ensuring traceability to business requirements.
5. Ensure alignment with our testing strategy, approach, and standards, using platforms like Confluence for documentation, and verify standards are met.
6. Understand LSM & GRS Change Control Board (CAB) processes and support Product Owners in confirming products are ready for deployment, with proper test evidence and process adherence.
7. Promote Agile Test-Driven Design (TDD) and the practice of creating unit tests before development.
Skills and Experience:
1. Expertise in Insurance Quote, Bind & Issuance solutions, with understanding of insurance policy lifecycles.
2. Knowledge of underwriting functions, Lloyds insurance market, and underwriting/broking systems.
3. At least 5 years' experience as a Senior Test Lead, with comprehensive SDLC knowledge, including bespoke and vendor software and integrations.
4. Strong analysis, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to prioritize and understand strategic and customer needs.
5. Good knowledge of on-premises, SaaS, and Cloud environments, including CI/CD methods.
6. Deep understanding of all testing stages, including automation and TDD.
7. Proven experience in test planning and execution across multiple vendors and teams.
8. Experience with automated testing tools and test development.
9. Familiarity with Agile practices and Change Management models like ADKAR.
