Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect them with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed.\n\nOn behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a Lifecycle Engineer for a 12 Month contract based in Derby.\n\nResponsibilities \n\nManage known and potential safety issues (e.g., SAR & Red Top).\nParticipate in safety boards as outlined in the Safety Management Plan.\nPredict future safety and reliability performance using statistical techniques.\nConduct Numerical Risk Assessments and Parametric Distribution analysis.\nReview and maintain lifecycle engineering policies and maintenance planning documentation.\nIdentify cost reduction opportunities through lifecycle analysis.\nManage issues affecting Maturity, Lifecycle Cost, Reliability, and Maintainability.\nEnsure alignment with Design Intent throughout the product lifecycle.\nProvide and model lifecycle technical data (build, in-service, decommissioning).\nSupport time-on-platform predictions and optimization strategies.\nIdentify and define requirements for new Health Monitoring Systems or capabilities.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory and stakeholder requirements.\nAct as Technical Authority where delegated, providing assurance on build, commissioning, and maintenance.\nGather in-service data to identify best practices and lessons learned.\nFeed insights into future programmes and product design teams.Criteria\n\nDegree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related numerical discipline (or equivalent experience).\nStrong understanding of component/system functionality and numerical methods.\nProven experience working on complex, novel, and ambiguous engineering tasks.\nFamiliarity with in-service operational environments, including regulatory and compliance frameworks.\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams (e.g., specialists, suppliers, customers, partners).\nStrong communication and documentation skills.
